Fund Raising

Everyone is welcome to assist in raising money for the move to the chapel – if you have any good ideas, please contact our fundraiser, Sue Crook, on sulphursue@yahoo.co.uk

So far, we have had: table top sales, Ladies Who Lunch (hostess provides lunch for a group of friends), Morning Coffee with a tombola (very successful), Afternoon Tea etc. One of our volunteers is running in the Cardiff Half Marathon and seeking sponsorship. Other events are planned:

Tabletop sale and Barbeque at the Village Hall – September 12

Talk by Lady Aurelia Young with supper, a Jazz Evening, Christmas Concert, Festive Coffee Morning.

Other suggestions but not yet arranged are: Wine Tasting, Open Gardens, Dog Show, Gymkhana, Barnfest and a Village Cookery Book.  We aim to enjoy our fundraising!
